I don’t believe in coincidences. As a true believer in the power of intent, and as a beloved child of God and the Universe, all that occurs in my life happens for a reason. I don’t believe in luck, only blessings. I know every person and creature is placed in my life for a specific purpose. Every situation is a learning experience. Everything happens for my own good. My life is a continuous evolution of self-growth. Having this knowledge and insight, I wake up every morning with enthusiasm, ready to face anything and anyone that wanders onto my life path. I remain curious as to the life lesson for the day and grateful for the beauty that God will reveal to me.
Yesterday, I sat in the sunny backyard of my friend’s house, preparing to write my next blog post. I had been a bit tired and sluggish, and decided I needed some fresh air and sunshine to inspire me to write. Within five minutes of sitting down outside, a beautiful light brown butterfly with reddish dots gently landed on the edge of my table. I was absolutely thrilled, as I love butterflies, and the sight of one just two feet away made my heart sing. It flew away for two seconds, but, to my delight, returned only to land on my left knee! How I wished I had my camera at that moment! Nevertheless, I was so grateful the butterfly chose to visit me and made me smile as I marveled at its beauty.
My friend came out to the backyard and I excitedly told him about the butterfly that magically appeared. He immediately went back to the house to fetch my camera in case the butterfly returned. Within a few moments of his departure, another butterfly came to me! This time, it was a darker and smaller brown butterfly, and landed on the right side of my head for two seconds. I couldn’t believe it! How spectacular, I thought! I was sure waking up now, as adrenaline rushed through my body at the sight of these magnificent creatures!
When my friend returned with my camera, I told him about the second butterfly. He could barely believe it. He left, and lo, and behold, a third butterfly descended on a stand directly in front of me. This time, it was a gorgeous, huge, brilliant yellow and black butterfly! He stayed only for a couple of seconds, and then flew and perched himself on a nearby tree. This time, I had my camera ready to capture him. He cooperated nicely and stayed in position long enough to allow me to take a few pictures of him.
As I returned to my seat, I eyed a fourth butterfly in the water stand next to me! Again, this precious butterfly stayed just long enough for me to snap a few photos.
I sat back in my seat and just thought about what had just happened. What are the chances of being visited by four different butterflies, with two landing on me, and all within 10 minutes! I’ve sat in this backyard many times before and maybe have spotted one butterfly far away, but certainly nothing like today! I was so happy and grateful that these butterflies were sent to my life at that very moment, when I needed joy and inspiration for writing this blog post.
I was just taught how easily and suddenly we all can experience joy in our life and how it can happen so quickly without any effort on our part!
It was no coincidence that on that very morning, I had, in fact, shared a picture on my Facebook page of a beautiful blue butterfly on the tip of a dog’s nose, with a pretty little girl closely watching. My comment on the image was “ Love is the answer.” How kind and loving of God and the Universe to send me real butterflies in the afternoon to remind me how much I am loved and to bring me such joy through His angels.
So that, my friends, is what I wanted to share with you. God and the Universe gives us everything we need: joy, peace, love. Always, and in every blessed moment in your life! His timing is always perfect and He knows exactly what we need!
So grateful and full of joy,
I’d be so grateful if you can share this post on your social media and leave a comment below ♥
