Archives For my true self
Anger can be an ugly beast. Yes, sometimes, there is room for righteous anger. The kind of anger we feel when we think justice has not been served, or when we’re angry that something cruel and heartless has happened. Perhaps, we feel we have a right to be angry when senseless acts take place, and lives are lost or hurt.
I won’t break out in song and dance, but there’s a lot behind this simple phrase: Don’t Worry, Be Happy! How many of us spend so much of our waking hours worried about something? How much energy do we expend thinking and being overly concerned about someone?
How often are you your own worst enemy? Do you judge yourself harshly? Do you come down on yourself when you think you’ve made a “mistake?” Please don’t! Love yourself enough to be kind to yourself.
I don’t believe in coincidences. As a true believer in the power of intent, and as a beloved child of God and the Universe, all that occurs in my life happens for a reason. I don’t believe in luck, only blessings. I know every person and creature is placed in my life for a specific purpose. Every situation is a learning experience. Everything happens for my own good. My life is a continuous evolution of self-growth. Having this knowledge and insight, I wake up every morning with enthusiasm, ready to face anything and anyone that wanders onto my life path. I remain curious as to the life lesson for the day and grateful for the beauty that God will reveal to me.
