Gratefulness of Spring and Renewal

April 12, 2013

Spring is in the air! What a wonderful time of the year this is! Signs of life are everywhere: the blossoming buds on the trees, the return of the daffodils and the tulips, the sun shining brilliantly beneath a baby blue backdrop sky. So much beauty. So much to be grateful for.

Spring is a fantastic time for new beginnings. Just as we carry out spring cleaning around the house, we should take a similar approach in our lives. Get rid of the old habits that hold us back from being our best. It’s time to bring on the new, healthy habits that empower us, and bring joy and peace to our lives.

I believe in new beginnings. I believe in life. I believe in letting go of the past. Learn from the past, but live in the present, and be hopeful for the future. Live in the moment because it is this moment that counts. Look around you. Appreciate all you have, every person in your life, and all the precious moments you have already experienced.

Do you need to let a part of you die and be buried? Do it. Bury that part today. And don’t look back. It is today that counts, not yesterday. Make today a time for awakening and new beginnings.

Love & Light,

Mimi Luk
